I am very excited for the 10th year Camp Met! This will be my 5th year as a leader, and this year I get to take on the role of Intermediate Cabin Administration Representative! Outside of camp, I work as an engineer in downtown Vancouver, I play volleyball and basketball, and dance with Diaspora. One of my favorite parts of Camp Met is watching the kids build bonds and friendships that can last a lifetime, while at the same time learning and growing closer to the faith. I hope to see you this year! ails herescription here
Georgia Asimakis has been involved with Camp Metamorphosis for the passed 9 years. Ever since her first year at camp, Georgia instantly fell in love with the magic and wonder felt at camp met. Camp has allowed Georgia to grow deeper into her religion, faith and culture as well as share her passion for these things with her peers and her campers. Georgia’s secret camp superpower is starting spontaneous Kalamatiana, be it on the wibbit, in the dining hall or simply in the cabin. Georgia is currently a student at Simon Fraser University completing a major in French, Georgia hopes to continue studying the French language after she graduates and aspires to one day become a French teacher as well as master baguette making and miming. Georgia is most passionate about her family, Greek dance and the orthodox faith. Georgia is most excited about the dinner entrées at camp and she can’t wait for Thea Casey’s famous lattes.
