ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM

Fr. Nikolaos Sideras

Spiritual Director

Father Nikolaos has been the priest at St. Georges Greek Orthodox Cathedral since 2021 and has been the Spiritual Director of Camp MET since 2025. He has been regularly coming to CAMP MET as a guest priest since 2021. Before coming to Vancouver Fr Nikolaos was ordained to priesthood in 2017 at the Church of Saint Paraskevi in Florina, Greece. He also has previous experience with orthodox camps at the ecclesiastical summer in Florina, Greece.

Christian Smith

Administrative Director

Christian is our new administrative director at Camp MET. He has been attending camp since 2011 as a camper and 2016 as a leader. Christian regularly attends St. Nicholas and Dimitrios Greek Orthodox Church in Burnaby but visits the other Greek Orthodox Church. He also has experience leading workshops and classes and community outreach. Christian works full time as an environmental consultant and is currently completing a masters degree online. Christian hopes to bring fun new changes to Camp MET while maintaining what makes Camp MET special.

Kaia Dill

Social Media and Engagement  

Kaia is a 22-year-old creative volunteer who will be helping with social media management and designing the camp T-shirt themes for Camp Met. She was an honour student in high school for directing and art, and also has experience from college courses in acting and marketing. Kaia was baptized in December 2024 at St. George’s Church. Her patron saint is St. Catherine of Alexandria (Aikaterini). She previously served as a leader at Camp Met last year and had a wonderful experience. She is creative, organized, and passionate about helping campers learn more about Christ and the Orthodox faith.

Angelica Mattheakis

Programs and Activities Coordinator 

Angelica has been coming to camp since the 2010's and has been a leader several times. She attends St. Helen and Constantine's Greek Orthodox Church. She is excited to take on the position of Programs and Activities Director and is looking to bring a fresh new take to the Camp experience. 

Melina Glavas

Administration and  Planning Coordinator

Melina has been a both a camper in 2022 and leader since 2025.  She regularly attends services at Saint George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Vancouver. Currently completing a degree in nursing Melina is excited to support this year of camp!
