Our first summer back on Thetis Island since the COVID-19 pandemic. We were joined by over 80+ campers, leaders and priests at beautiful Pioneer Pacific Camp!
Winter Camp 2022

We had over 60 youth aged Kindergarten - Grade 12 join us at the Hellenic Community of Vancouver. We hosted a Day Camp for youth kindergarten - Grade 6, and a sleepover for youth Grade 7-12.

We had over 50 youth join us for Day Camps at the Hellenic Community of Vancouver!
We also hosted a Senior Sleepover for those campers Grade 10-12, which included an outdoor movie, snacks and unplugged!

Our third Regional Youth Assembly took place in beautiful Penticton, BC. Here, participants discussed the Middle Way with keynote speakers including Jasper Bendici, Fr. Constantinos Economos, His Eminence Archbishop Sotirios, and Jacob Saylor.

100 youths participated this year at our 5th annual Winter Camp! The kids took part in amazing activities such as horseback riding, rock climbing, and swimming in the pool. Led by their awesome parish priests, the kids took part in discussions about offering creation back to God. The camp tradition of a Camp Dance was also enjoyed.

Theophany Cross Dive 2015

The first annual Theophany Cross dive! Last done 30 years ago, about 25 youth and adults participated in 3 separate dives (8-12, 13-17 and 18+) in this newly renewed tradition. Congratulations to Kosta Panos, Apostoli Nicolinas and Stefano Chountalos for getting the cross!

Winter Camp 2014

Our 4th Annual Winter Camp was a hit and saw 116 of our youth participate! (94 Campers, 22 Councellors) This was our biggest Winter Camp Yet! "Holiness" was the theme of this Winter Camp which the campers not only spoke about during Orthodox Life discussions, but also prayed about during our first ever Sunday Divine Liturgy (at camp) in Camp Met BC history!

CAMP MET BC celebrated it's 5th Anniversary this year with a BANG by setting a new record with 118 campers and 30 staff in attendance!
"Righteous Pride" was the theme of Camp this past summer which taught us to have true pride in the gifts God has given us. A special highlight was a performance by the ELKELAM Dance Group from Athens, Greece.

Our 2nd Regional Youth Assembly had the theme of "Light" and was hosted by the Hellenic Community of Vancouver. 50 young adults between the ages of 15 - 25 participated. Keynote speakers inclued Brother Alex Younes and Fr. Michael Gillis of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese and Fr. Kosta Kaltsidis of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Surrey.
